Position Summary:

Our Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as items from our specials and signature menus.  Successful members of our bar staff will mix drinks according to our own in-house standard and seize upon every opportunity to upsell, making friendly recommendations to our guests.  Bartenders will also suggest, ring in, and serve food from our kitchen menu, creating tabs or managing cash receipts as necessary. As one of our bartenders, you’ll be TIPS certified to comply with all alcohol service regulations and provide responsible alcohol sales and service to our guests.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mix and serve drinks to patrons across the bar and through wait staff in a timely manner
  • Suggest and serve food from the kitchen menu to patrons at the bar
  • Manage tabs, credit cards, and cash receipts throughout the shift, taking responsibility for the POS balancing at the end of the shift
  • Serve alcohol responsibly, ending service in a professional and courteous manner if necessary
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures and checklists
  • Restock bottle and can beer in coolers as necessary
  • Cut lemons, limes, and oranges as well as keep other garnishes stocked and ready for use
  • Maintain stock of napkins, straws, and cups behind bar
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar, counters, and draft beer areas, wiping them down with a washcloth as they become wet or dirty
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar booths and tables, bussing dishes and wiping down tables after use
  • Keep glassware clean and stocked by operating the dishwasher
  • Manage stock of bar towels, wash/drying/and folding towels in the laundry room when necessary
  • Request liquor as needed from a manager to keep inventory stocked behind the bar
  • Display a pleasant demeanor towards all guests
  • Comply with any additional requests made by the on shift Manager


  • High school diploma
  • At least two years of bartending experience required
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand and move constantly throughout a shift
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
